I love the Livos products, even more so after using a variety of others to refinish furniture including pure tung oil (mixed with turpentine), spray lacquer, and a “tung oil finish” product. Aside from being pleasant to use (no horrible toxic vapors), they are more forgiving than other finishes I’ve tried and result in a velvety-smooth, elegant, low luster finish. This is my first time refinishing furniture and I’ve just finished my 5th piece of old Koa, wish I had started with the Livos as the results and experience are far superior to the other products that I’ve tried. Grateful that I was steered toward Livos by an experienced woodworker.
I'm a furniture maker since 1983. I've been using Kunos for at least ten years and love it. Spraying a lacquer finish was my method previous to finding Kunos. So glad to have made the switch.
this is the best natural and environmentally friendly finish on the market and that does not mean you loose quality, in fact it gives you the most beautiful finish you can achieve. thanks Livos!
have been using kunos white for years on lighter woods (mostly white oak and hard maple). it is the closest to a naked bare wood appearance finish that i come across to date. far more green than its competitors - you can smell the difference when you open the can - but performs just as well. can't imagine using anything else at this point.
I've tried other finishes and Kunos is the best for applications. LOVE IT !!
