Kunos 243 countertop oil fixed this cherry countertop. I brushed the Kunos on with a foam brush. While wet, I worked the finish in with a purple Scotch Brite pad in the direction of the wood grain. The temperature of the house was very warm so I could only apply finish to half the tabletop before it got too tacky to wipe excess off. As you can see, there are no cut lines. I applied two coats; one each day. Each coat took less than an hour to apply and wipe down. I did not have to use sandpaper to achieve this beautiful finish. The Kunos 243 is a neutral product ( extremely low odor for those people sensitive to any smells) the homeowner was able to stay inside with me while I worked. The Kunos was simple to apply over an already oiled surface. Beautiful and durable!!

I used this oil as a follow up coat recommended by the person would made my cherry table top. I followed directions but the application left some streaks and a few spots where it did not take. Any suggestions to remedy this?
